1. [+672, -14] 100% lip service... So many foreign stars get VVIP treatment in Korea, why would they ever say anything bad about our country?

2. [+633, -18] The world can't ignore Korea's movie market anymore. There's money to be made in it now so they have to give lip service and look good.

3. [+475, -8] Someone probably coached her to say that

4. [+23, -0] Seems like the go to response when you don't know much about a country is "the food is delicious"

5. [+17, -0] What I noticed is that westerners tend to overuse words like "beautiful" and "good" when they don't have much else to say

6. [+8, -0] Koreans in general seem to be really obsessed with foreigners complimenting our country. You can tell with varieties like 'Abnormal Summit', 'Welcome to Korea', YouTube's 'Englishman', and all the YouTube reaction videos that Koreans turn into happy little kids whenever a foreign shows interest in Korea. It's where all those memes like "do you know Psy, kimchi, or Park Jisung" come from ㅋ

7. [+8, -0] "nice people, good food" basic repertoire

8. [+6, -0] Why so negative when you'd all be just as mad if she didn't say these things? I like Lawrence and I for one am glad to see more foreign celebrities coming to visit our country thanks to our movie market
